I'm Home

Well, I am home. It was a nice trip, I am glad I went but am very glad to be back.

Monday we went as far as Hays, Kansas. It was a long day with lots of rain and storms.
Tuesday we made it to Topeka around 12:00. We went to my cousin Kay's house first.
Kay shared a house with my Grandma Caroline and took care of her for the past 10 or so years. Kay got polio when she was little and has spent most of her life in a wheel chair.
She is an AWESOME lady!!

Tuesday night we went to the "visitation," I didn't think there would be many people show up due to the fact that most of Caroline's family are gone but there were quite a few people .
Wednesday was the Graveside Service. It was short and sweet (Good thing because it was cold)
After , The whole family went over to Kay's to visit and have lunch.

After lunch we started on our way home. We drove until we found a place to stay.
We ended up getting rooms in Limon Colorado and having dinner at Denny's.
Thursday we got up and finished our last leg of the trip. We got into Vernal around 5:00pm.

Now it's time to get back into the swing of things. Kids, laundry, cooking, cleaning.....Life!!
