D.U.P Field Trip

Today was Amelia's Class trip to the D.U.P Museum.(Daughters of Utah Pioneers). I have to admit that when I got up and there was a dusting of snow on the lawn, I was hoping that they would cancel the trip.

We left the school at 10:30 and walked to the museum.
It was a bit cloudy with a little wind but it actually felt pretty good.

We were taken on a brief tour around the museum and then the guide gave us a list of different things that we could go around and find. The kids had fun looking at all the stuff and was able to find everything on their list.

One of Amelia's friends was looking at this typewriter and asked.......
"where is the backspace key?"
Computers sure have made life easy.
There is a generation that has no idea!

Our group after they found the "wooden wheelchair"

Eating lunch at the Park.
I was lazy and stopped at Blimpies before hand.
It sure did taste good!

Here is Amelia with all of her classmates.
The wind was starting to blow and it looked like it was going to dump rain
on us so we decided it was time to head back.

The walk back was a bit colder, but it wasn't bad.
Next week they have a trip planned to the water slide....
hopefully the weather will be warmer for that.

Looks like it was a fun field trip. That's cool you were able to go with her class. Amelia is a cutie!
